Bio and Performance Record: Tomano TF’s sire, Omano BC, is the first ever American bred stallion to win the 2020 6yo PAVO Stallion Competition out of 48 stallions in Lier, Belgium with rider Jeroen De Winter. He is currently competing at 1.50m under Belgian Olympian, Dirk Demeersman, with a Bronze podium finish in the 1.45m 8YO Opglabbeck Nat’l YH Championship and the top scoring youngest stallion in the 2022 1.50m FEI Sires of the World with a top finish of 11th with zero jumping faults.
Omano BC, is out of the legendary double Gold Olympic Champion mare, Sapphire, who bankrolled $2.75 million during her illustrious career. She was long listed for her third Olympics in 2012 Olympics prior to her retirement. Omano BC is one of the very few sons of the World Champion, Cumano, who was the Gold World Champion in Aachen followed by Silver at the European Championships and countless other top wins. His dam, Ultra Du Werfat, jumped successfully at the 1.35m – 1.40m level.
Tomano TF scored an impressive 85 for his free jumping stallion inspection by BWP stallion judge, Boudewijn Schepers, for his technique, athletic ability and willingness. We’re excited to see this first approved son of Omano BC develop for the show jumping ring!
