Bio and Performance Record:
Introducing international competitor Jac’Potes, 2003 16.3h holsteiner stallion by Caretino/Corrado I/Lord. Retiring from sport at the age of 18 after a career up to 1.60m, Jac’Potes is a welcome addition for North American breeders. Jac’Potes brings to the table proven performance, proven bloodlines, and proven offspring. Sire, Caretino, was one of the top stallions in Holstein, having produced greats such as Casall and Cristallo. Jac’Potes dam sire, Corrado I, is the sire of Clinton and gold medal WEG competitor Corradina. Also on the dam side is Lord, sire of countless top competitors including World Championships and Olympics. Jac’Potes dam, Harada, produced 2 offspring that competed to 1.60m (Jac’Potes and Ubris), 1.45m (Riga I) and 1.30m (Cisco, approved stallion).

In performance, Jac’potes is unmatched. In France, he was described as “Very beautiful, very good gallop, very respectful, big means and a golden character.” He was one of the top young horses in France, including 3rd in the 5-year-old championship at the CIR du Lion d’Angers. He then went on to be partnered with Jan Tops (olympic gold medal rider) and Doda de Miranda (Olympic medalist). He claimed top placings, up to CSI5* level, at events such as Nations Cups, CSIO Lisbon, Stephex Masters, CSI Maubeuge, and Wellington FL. As a testament to his exceptional temperament, towards the end of his career he has been successful in the amateur jumpers and even the hunters!

Jac’Potes is proving to be not only exceptional in the show ring, but also in the breeding shed. With limited breeding prior to his import, he has produced several offspring with competition records of 1.35m-1.60m. Most notably Tescari’jac, with a record to 1.60m. Of the 13 offspring listed on hippomundo, all of them have a record of at least 1.20m, including 5 at 1.40m-1.45m and 5 1.30m-1.35m. Additionally, Jac’Potes has also produced an approved stallion; Tostaky de la Loue.
