Bio and Performance Record:
Best Regards aka Cumthago C was approved during the BWP Stallion Selection in 2011. He is one of the few Approved Stallions of the legendary Cumano. He jumped up to 1.45m in Belgium before being exported to the U.S. where he successfully competes and garnered several wins in the High Performance Conformation Hunter classes. His dam also produced two other approved stallions, Guintero C (Quintero ASK) BWP & Izar C (Vigo d’Arsouilles) AES.

Cumano was a phenomenon, in sport as well as in breeding. He was World champion, vice European champion, won the Grand Prix of Calgary and Lummen & he participated two times at the Olympic Games. He was also 3rd in the Grand Prix in Aachen. In the breeding he has several Grand Prix horses even though he had only a small production, like Amaryllis, Coquet vd Potaarde, Claudy Bay, Chivas, Celena, Cayenne & Cassira.

Cumthago’s mother, My Girl III, is a daughter La Zarras, one of the most important sons of Landgraf I. His grandmother, Diamond Lady, is a state premium mare, who is the full sister of the famous sire Lord Calando, and so she’s also the half sister of the legendary Carthago Z. Carthago Z competed successfully at the Olympic games of Atlanta and Sydney as well as the European championship in Hickstead. But Carthago is even more famous as a sire of multiple GP winners. Cumthago’s great grandmother Perra had 5 Grand Prix horses and 4 approved stallions, namely Carthago Z, Lord Calando, Candyman, Cinnamon & Cover Girl. She’s also the dam to the breeding mares Diamond Lady (mother of My Girl) and Werra. Werra has two Grand Prix offspring as well, namely Charleston and Charly.
