Dear BWP Members,
The closing date for online registrations has changed.

Online Registrations must be received by 5pm prior to the keuring date or there will be a $50 late fee charged.  All On-site registrations will be charged a $50 late fee. Thanks to all!!!  We look forward to seeing you on the tour!!
Additional Keuring Information
*Attention Breeders presenting foals for the 2009 inspection! Please bring your breeding certificates and declaration of birth to the inspection for the judges. Contact your stallion owner if you have not received these forms. Stallion owners can also download these forms off the BWP website to send to the mare owners.

*Attention Keuring Hosts! Please make sure that your new BWP breeders are informed to register online for the keuring! Chris Sallee will be sending out the travel itineraries this week for all the sites. Dee Drott will be mailing boxes to each site for the judges and BWP representatives. These boxes will contain the awards for each site so please have it available on your keuring day!

Please contact Chris if you have any questions clsallee@nvisionvet.com or call 314-496-5424.
H-Label
The pilot program for BWP horses destined for the hunter ring kicks off this year! Presenting the H-Label American Hunter Book.

Maryland, Florida and Wisconsin will hold these classes. A USEF judge will officiate.  Year-end awards will be available for participants.

This is an opportunity to have your horses evaluated both under the Belgian System and an American USEF Hunter Judge. You will learn from each of these expert horsemen. Give yourself a chance to evaluate your horse based on the criteria used in Europe, and also in the largest competitive market in America. Best of all it happens in one place.

Remember the BWP judges must approve you horse first.  Good Luck to everyone. Feedback is appreciated.
Stallion Jumping Performance Requirements
The following is a correction and clarifications to the 2009 Stallion Directory for the Jumping Performance Requirements for Stallions.

Correction for the Stallion Jumping Performance Requirements in the 2009 BWP Stallion Directory: "Qualifying for the Young Jumper Championships" is not a substitute for the completion of clear rounds.

Clarification for the Stallion Jumping Performance Requirements in the 2009 BWP Stallion Directory:

Stallions 4-6yrs old, need to complete 4 clear rounds during two years of their provisional status for a total of 8 clear rounds at age appropriate height.

Stallions 7yrs and older need to complete a total of 5 clear rounds at their age appropriate height.

For all stallions, jumping faults only, time faults are allowed. If a stallion jumps a clear round with no jumping faults but incurs time faults, this counts as a clear round.

Five Year Olds: 1.20 meters ( 4' ) -  Four Clear rounds at a USEF "A" rated show to include clear rounds achieved in Young Jumper Qualifying and Championship classes.

Six Year Olds: 1.30 meters (4'3") Four Clear rounds at a USEF "A" rated show to include clear rounds achieved in Young Jumper Qualifying and Championship classes.

Seven through Ten Years: 1.40 meters (4'6")  Five Clear rounds at a USEF "A" rated show to include clear rounds achieved in the 7 & 8 Yr Old Young Jumper Qualifying and Championship classes.
Congratulations!
